Coach Training: Strategies for Success

Become a certified coach evoking powerful conversation to support leadership of people, places and the planet.

Coach Training Strategies for Success is a professionally recognised coach education programme designed for people who want to coach with depth, clarity and integrity. It supports you to grow not only as a coach, but also as a thoughtful, professional, grounded human being who can work skilfully with complexity, difference and change.

The programme is fully accredited at the International Coaching Federation, ICF Level 2 – one of the most globally recognised standards for professional coach training. This accreditation assures you that the learning meets the rigorous international gold standard for coaching competence, ethics, mentor coaching, and assessment, and that your training is recognised worldwide across industries and contexts.

What you will gain

Through ten months of supported learning, you will:

  • Develop confidence in leading powerful coaching conversations
  • Coach clarity, focus and meaningful outcomes
  • Support others through uncertainty and difficult decisions
  • Build deep listening, presence and ethical awareness
  • Ask questions that open choice, insight and movement
  • Strengthen your professional identity and credibility as a coach

How you will learn

Learning is experiential, relational and practical. You will learn through:

  • Live demonstrations and shared practice
  • Coaching and observing peers
  • Structured reflection and integration
  • Ongoing verbal and written feedback
  • Group and individual mentor coaching woven throughout the programme

There is no final exam (summative process). Instead, learning happens through an ongoing developmental process that supports integration and mastery of the ICF Core Competencies over time through regular observations and mentoring (formative process).

PROGRAMME OVERVIEW

This programme offers 150 hours of coach‑specific training delivered through a blend of in‑person and virtual learning, alongside asynchronous practice between modules. On completion, you will receive a Certificate of Completion from Change Advantage Ltd, acknowledging your ICF Level 2 training.

Graduates are supported to log coaching experience hours and are eligible to progress towards ACC and PCC credentials with the ICF, using this programme as a recognised education pathway.

Who This Training Is For

This programme is for people who feel called to coach with purpose, depth and integrity, and who want to develop themselves professionally while making a meaningful contribution to others.

It is designed for:

  • Aspiring coaches who want a solid, internationally recognised foundation
  • Practising coaches who wish to deepen their skill, presence and confidence
  • Leaders, managers and HR professionals who use coaching in their role
  • Internal coaches working within organisations
  • Consultants, facilitators and practitioners transitioning into coaching

You may already be coaching, or you may be at the beginning of your journey. What matters most is not where you start, but your willingness to learn, practice, reflect, and grow over time.

This programme is particularly suited to people who:

  • Value learning through experience and feedback
  • Are open to exploring their identity, beliefs and cultural context
  • Want to coach ethically and responsibly
  • Are willing to practise, receive feedback, and integrate learning gradually
  • Care about people, systems, and the wider impact of their work

A good level of conversational English is required, as the programme is delivered in English. No fixed coaching style is expected — you will be supported to develop your own authentic way of coaching, grounded in professional standards and human connection.

Programme leadership

The programme is led by Saima Butt, ICF Master Certified Coach (MCC), Certified Mentor Coach and Programme Director at Change Advantage. Saima brings extensive global experience working with leaders and organisations and is known for creating learning spaces that are rigorous, compassionate and deeply human.

The programme is hosted by Dragana Prijanovič, Olos Institute and an ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC), Certified Mentor Coach and sponsor.

PROGRAMME STRUCTURE

This programme is built around experiential learning, shared practice, and reflective inquiry. Guided by the ICF Core Competencies, the emphasis is on developing clarity and awareness — of yourself as a coach, your cultural identity, your values, beliefs, and the behaviours that shape how you work with others.

Learning is designed to be human, practical, and integrated. Rather than separating “learning” from “doing”, you will be invited to practice coaching continuously, reflect on real experiences, and apply insight directly into your coaching conversations. This approach supports ethical, professional, and sustainable coaching practice that is grounded in who you are, not just what you do.

Methodology

The programme comprises 150 hours delivered over ten months, combining both structured learning together and independent practice.

  • Synchronous Learning (SL): Live sessions delivered virtually and in person, including teaching, demonstrations, group dialogue, coaching practice, observation, and feedback.
  • Asynchronous Learning (AL): Learning that happens between live sessions, including reviewing recorded material, reflective assignments, case studies, co‑coaching practice, and recording and transcribing your own coaching sessions for mentor coaching.

This blend allows learning to deepen over time, supporting integration.
